Gravity cylinder thickener is suitable for dehydration concentration and washing of wood pulp, cotton pulp, rice-wheat straw pulp, and waste paper pulp. Compared with other existing pulp thickening equipment, it has the advantages of simple equipment structure, convenient installation and maintenance, high production capacity, pulp Wide adaptability and other advantages, it is widely used in the pulp and paper industry.
Gravity rotary screen thickener is composed of cage, pressure roller, pressure frame device, scraper device and transmission machine. Low-concentration (0.5%-1%) pulp is fed from the pulp inlet, flows into the circular screen slot, and is adsorbed on the surface of the screen cage along the low-speed rotation direction of the rotary screen cage. The slurry is filtered and dehydrated by the filter pressure difference generated by different specifications of the screens in the cage and the liquid level difference inside and outside the cage (about 1/5 - 1/2 of the diameter of the cage). And through the gravity filter action of the pressure roller, the slurry is concentrated to 5%-6% and adheres to the pressure roller, and is peeled off by the scraper along the rotation direction of the pressure roller, and enters the pulp outlet.
