Modern CIP Gold Plants Deliver Higher Recovery and Sustainable Operation
As global gold mining operations continue to focus on efficiency and sustainability, the Carbon in Pulp (CIP) process has become one of the most important technologies for recovering gold from low-grade and finely disseminated ores.
The CIP gold processing flow combines crushing, grinding, thickening, cyanide leaching, activated carbon adsorption, smelting, and tailings management into a complete closed-loop recovery system.
The process starts with raw ore reduction using jaw crushers and cone crushers. Ground slurry from the ball mill and spiral classifier enters a thickener where overflow water is recovered and reused throughout the plant.
Inside the adsorption circuit, activated carbon efficiently captures dissolved gold from the slurry. Multiple adsorption tanks arranged in series maximize gold loading efficiency while maintaining stable production performance.
Loaded carbon is separated using safety screens before entering the smelting process to produce high-purity gold bullion. Tailings filtration systems further reduce water loss and minimize environmental impact through backwater recycling.
Modern CIP systems provide excellent adaptability for various ore types and are especially suitable for fine gold recovery operations requiring high processing efficiency and lower operating costs.
