Cationic Rosin Sizing Agent

Cationic rosin sizing agent is a superfine emulsion of modified rosin and cationic substances. As an internal pulp sizing agent for paper and cardboard, it can be retained on the surface of negatively charged fibers by electrostatic attraction. It has low demand for aluminum sulfate and is suitable for a wide range of pH values. It can be used in near-neutral systems. Calcium carbonate as a filler. The rosin particles of the emulsion are completely free and very fine, and the dosage is less than that of similar products.

It can be used in writing, printing, newsprint, corrugated paper, and cardboard production processes with intermittent or continuous addition at a dosage of 0.3-1.5% (based on output).

Product Features

Instruction For Use

Cationic rosin sizing agent can be used directly or diluted 3-5 times with water. It is recommended that the addition point is before the flushing pump, followed by continuous addition with a metering pump, or after the pressure sieve, and the addition amount is 0.3-1.5% of the dry fiber. Aluminum sulfate, etc., the retention agent can be added at the same position or in the pulp mixing box and paper machine pulp tank. The pH of the sizing is controlled at 4.6-7.0, and the pH of the white water under the screen is controlled at 5-7.0.
