High-quality quartz ceramic rollers are essential for stable glass tempering production, but their performance depends just as much on proper maintenance as on manufacturing quality. A simple inspection routine can significantly extend roller service life while reducing production downtime and glass defects.
Daily and Routine Maintenance
Before starting production, inspect roller surfaces for glass dust, coating residue, or other contaminants that may cause scratches or roller marks. Check that each roller rotates smoothly without abnormal vibration or resistance, and inspect the shaft connections for wear or corrosion. Regular cleaning with soft, non-abrasive tools helps maintain the polished surface and prevents contamination from building up.
Preventive Inspection for Long-Term Performance
Weekly maintenance should include removing stubborn deposits with approved neutral cleaning agents and checking roller alignment to ensure uniform glass support.
