Recently, Huatao Company successfully delivered over 8,000 square meters of high-performance aerogel blanket to a large refinery pipeline insulation project in India, marking a big breakthrough for the company in the international industrial insulation market.
This project, a critical undertaking for India's energy industry, places extremely high demands on the insulation material's thermal efficiency, fire resistance, and durability. Huatao's aerogel blanket boasts a room-temperature thermal conductivity of as low as 0.018 W/(m·K), increasing its insulation efficiency by over 50% compared to traditional insulation materials such as rock wool and calcium silicate. This characteristic significantly reduces heat loss in refinery high-temperature pipelines (typically operating in the 300-600°C range), directly reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions, and meeting the refining industry's stringent demand for energy efficiency.
