GXQ series pneumatic bellows web guide corrector (air spring type) is an automatic web deviation correction equipment specially used for paper machines. It is designed to rectify lateral wandering of forming wire, press felt and dryer fabric during papermaking process.
This model adopts air spring (bellows) as power component instead of traditional air cylinder. When the fabric edge deviates, the sensing lever triggers the pneumatic valve. The air bellows expands or contracts to drive the swing frame and adjust the angle of supporting rollers, bringing the wire or felt back to normal running track.
Equipped with manual handwheel for convenient field calibration, it features soft driving, stable response and less impact to fabric. It effectively prevents fabric edge tearing, paper break and web offset, reduces machine downtime and improves paper quality.

Working Principle

The mechanical sensing lever touches the edge of the running fabric. Once the felt/wire drifts sideways, the lever shifts and switches the pneumatic control valve. Air enters or exhausts from the air bellows, the air spring expands or contracts to push the swing base, changes the angle of support rollers and realizes automatic web correction. The handwheel is used for manual adjustment during installation and maintenance.
