Description

GXQ series pneumatic bellows web guide corrector (air spring type) is an automatic lateral deviation correction equipment specially designed for paper machines. It controls the wandering of forming wire, press felt, and dryer fabric during papermaking production.
This series adopts air bellows (air spring) as the driving component. When the fabric edge drifts, the mechanical sensor lever triggers the pneumatic valve. The air spring expands and contracts to drive the swing base, adjusting the angle of the roller frame to pull the web back to the normal track.
Material is customizable, and the ContiTech air spring (Marine / Continental brand) is available as an option.
Soft driving without rigid impact, protects felt and wire effectively. Prevents fabric edge tearing, paper breaks, and reduces production downtime.

Working Principle

The edge sensing lever touches the running fabric edge. When web offset occurs, the lever switches the pneumatic valve. Air inflow/exhaust controls expansion or contraction of air bellows, pushing the swing mechanism to change the guide roller angle, so as to realize automatic web correction. A manual fine-tuning structure is reserved for equipment calibration during installation and overhaul.
