Description
GXP Pneumatic Felt / Wire Corrector (Cylinder Type) is an automatic deviation correction device specially designed for paper machines. It is used to monitor and rectify the running offset of forming wire, press felt, and dryer fabric during papermaking production. When the felt or wire drifts sideways, the detecting lever triggers the pneumatic control valve automatically. The cylinder actuator pushes the bearing seat of the guide roller to swing, which brings the fabric back to the normal running track. It protects the paper machine fabric from edge damage, reduces downtime and paper defects, and improves the stability of paper machine continuous operation.

Working Principle
The sensing baffle contacts with the edge of the felt/wire. Once the fabric deviates, the swing arm shifts and switches the pneumatic valve. The cylinder pushes the guide roller support to move, adjusting the roller angle and correcting fabric offset automatically. Air pressure can be adjusted to change correction speed.
