PRS Cooling Roll – A Good Start to Expansion in Latin America

Huatao Group is proud to announce that its high-performance cooling roll has successfully entered the Latin American market, with the first batch of equipment already installed and commissioned. This collaboration marks a key breakthrough for Huatao Group in its expansion into the Latin American plastic film industry.

The cooling roll delivered this time will be used in a renovation project for a large plastic film production line in Latin America. PRS cooling rolls have earned customer recognition for their precise temperature control, excellent heat dissipation, and outstanding reliability. This equipment can significantly improve flatness and cooling rates in film production, helping customers optimize their processes, improve product quality, and reduce energy consumption.

The main technical specifications are as follows:

Roll (Diamond pattern)
Diameter= 450 mm
Face width = 7800 mm

Shell construction: Double-shell construction from Q355
Disc/Shaft: shafts and side disks from 42CrMo
Flow-system: double layer, channels between inner and outer tube separated with welded leading spirals

SURFACE
hard chrome coated, hardness HRC60~62, finished
chromium layer thickness >=100μm, Ra<=0.2μm

STATIC AND DYNAMIC
REQUIREMENT, TOLERANCE
Run out <=0.1mm，cylindricity<=0.1mm
Dynamic balancing G2.5 up to max. line speed
