Recently, Huatao Group received a formal order for corrugator belts from a large corrugated cardboard factory in Southeast Asia. In high-speed continuous production of corrugated cardboard, the edges of the corrugator belt are always a high-risk area for failure due to cardboard friction and misalignment contact with the machine frame. Traditional products often suffer from premature edge wear, leading to complete scrapping, frequent downtime, and high maintenance costs for customers. After in-depth communication with the client, Huatao Group's technical team proposed a targeted 20cm Kevlar-reinforced edge solution: utilizing the ultra-high strength and high modulus properties of Kevlar fibers, it significantly improves the edge's wear resistance and cut resistance, breaking through the lifespan bottleneck of traditional conveyor belts from a structural perspective.
Actual operation data from trial use of the corrugator belt shows that this solution effectively inhibits the spread of edge damage, significantly extending the service life to over 75 million linear meters of the corrugator belt at a working speed of 200m/min compared to conventional products, directly reducing the frequency of replacements and unplanned downtime losses for the customer. In addition, the lightweight properties of Kevlar help reduce the energy consumption of the transmission system, and its resistance to damp heat and chemicals is highly compatible with the high-temperature and humidity production environment in Southeast Asia, further ensuring the stability of production line operations.
