★ In the flotation machine, the ore pulp treated with chemicals is stirred and aerated, so that some ore particles are selectively fixed on the air bubbles; they float to the surface of the ore pulp and are scraped out to form foam products, and the rest remain in the ore pulp in order to achieve the purpose of separating minerals. There are many structural forms of flotation machines, and the most commonly used is the mechanical stirring flotation machine.
★ When the mine flotation machine is working, the pulp is fed into the impeller by the slurry feeding pipe, and is thrown into the groove by the centrifugal force generated by the rotating impeller, so a negative pressure is formed under the cover plate, and the air is automatically sucked in by the air inlet pipe. The sucked air and the fed ore pulp are mixed together at the upper part of the impeller and thrown into the trough, again generating negative pressure, sucking in the air, and so on continuously. In the ore pulp subjected to the action of medicine, the minerals to be floated are brought to the surface by the air bubbles to form a mineralized foam layer, and are scraped out by the scraper to obtain the concentrate. The minerals and gangue that do not float will enter the intermediate chamber through the gate on the side wall of the tank and be fed into the next flotation tank. The adjustment of the slurry level in each or several tanks can be completed by adjusting the gate up and down. The cycle process is completed in the machine.
Flotation machine is a widely used flotation machine, and it is also widely used in mine flotation separation operation. It has the advantages of large suction and low energy consumption.
